Taxonomy

Thanks to generations of devoted taxonomists we can sketch parts of the tree of life.

Archivist can record the taxons and their relationships as things and strings.

The relationships can be updated as new discoveries are made.

Modern humans are (currently) classed as: Homo sapiens sapiens,
from the Species: Homo sapiens,
from the Genus: Homo,
from the Tribe: Hominini,
from the Family: Hominidae,
from the Suborder: Haplorhini,
from the Order: Primates,
from the Class: Mammalia,
from the Phylum: Chordata,
from the Kingdom: Animalia.

Entering ten things and eighteen strings allows us to hop up and down the tree both ways.

Then we can grow the tree by adding new related taxons.
